Not the people who talk about AI. Not the people who write think pieces about AI. The people who wake up, open their terminal, and ship code that uses AI to solve real problems.

We started noticing a pattern: the AI industry optimizes for the wrong things.

Instant responses when you’re running batch jobs overnight. Per-token pricing when you’re processing bulk data. Real-time streaming infrastructure when you’re building background workflows.

It’s infrastructure designed for demos, not production workloads.

So we built what we needed—and made it available to anyone with the same problem.

What We Believe

Infrastructure should match usage.
If your workload doesn’t need instant responses, you shouldn’t pay for instant infrastructure.
Pricing should be predictable.
You shouldn’t need a spreadsheet to estimate your API costs or get surprised by your bill at month-end.
Trade-offs should be honest.
Async processing isn’t better for everything—but for the use cases where it works, it works really well. We’re not pretending otherwise.
Builders should build.
Not optimize costs, not reverse-engineer pricing tiers, not budget for token overages. Just build.

How We Work

We ship tools we’d actually use ourselves. No enterprise sales process, no procurement cycles, no “contact us for pricing.”

If something should be free, we make it free. If it costs money to run, we price it honestly and show the math.

We don’t have a corporate philosophy or mission statement written by a branding agency. We just think developer tools should be built by developers, priced by developers, and optimized for developers.

We’re a small team who got tired of paying for infrastructure that didn’t match how we actually work.

No venture backing, no growth targets, no pressure to optimize for anything except building useful tools and pricing them fairly.
